Orange Oil is General Finishes most popular and natural furniture care product. It can be used on any cured finish and does a superb job of removing everyday dirt and dust. It is often compared to lemon oil; however, the big difference is lemon oil contains mineral spirits. Orange Oil is all natural, non-combustible and made from real orange rinds. We love its fresh orange scent.

Orange oil is great for routine furniture maintenance, antique restoration and as a lubricant when buffing topcoat.

 Instructions

General Finishes Orange Oil Application Steps

Cleaning:
Apply Orange Oil with a clean, lint-free cloth and wipe off the excess. Repeat as needed.

Polishing/Buffing:

  1. Shake container well.
  2. Wipe on a thin, even coat with a clean cloth.
  3. Let sit 1-2 minutes.
  4. Buff off the excess with a buffing or sanding pad in the direction of the wood grain. The higher/finer grit you use, the easier it will be to achieve a high-gloss finish.
